Alongside being roped in by the WTA to be the face of the year-end championships, Genie, as she’s fondly known, has been doing a lot of media work in Canada too. Bouchard recently did a photo shoot for FLARE, one of the biggest fashion magazines of Canada, which saw her try out some interesting retro tennis costumes ala Suzanne Lenglen. Genie was also seen showing her glamorous side during the photoshoot.
It might just be time for Maria Sharapova to start looking over her shoulder. Tennis seems to have found its next big superstar in Genie Bouchard.
