As early as the 13th minute in the first half, Christian Benteke chipped the ball in Kompany’s, who was standing on the half-way line, path. The defender, then, decided to show off his juggling skills to the fans.

Already winning 1-0 through Marouane Fellaini’s 9th minute goal, Kompany controlled the ball by Benteke, prevented it from touching the ground while simultaneously moving forward, juggling the ball 5 times before unleashing a volley.

The volley, unfortunately, was not up to the standards of the juggling and proved why the 6-foot-3-inch tall man from England was right in becoming a defender instead of a finisher. His shot would not have put the ball in orbit, but it is safe to say that the opposite goalkeeper was not troubled. It surely brought a joyous moment for the fans during the match.

Kompany was later sent off after receiving his second booking, but his side held on to win by a slender margin.
