Helen Cummine, the Howes’ sister, told Canadian Press that Vic Howe suffered from dementia and had a heart attack in Moncton, New Brunswick.
Vic Howe played for the Rangers from 1950-55. He had three goals and four assists in 33 games.
Gordie Howe has also had his share of health issues, suffering from to major strokes last year. However, he appeared to be on the mend after receiving stem-cell treatment in Mexico.
