Vanderbilt Player Knocked Unconscious During Nit Game Against Stanford

As Stanford guard Anthony Brown swept through on a drive with his elbows high, he smashed into the face of Vanderbilt’s Luke Kornett.

The hit was direct, and Kornett had his lights shut off for a second. It’s pretty clear in the video, which is hard to watch.

Maybe anyone involved with a Vanderbilt game needs to have a helmet. A referee was knocked out during tip-off earlier in the season.

Stanford took the National Invitational Tournament win, 78-75.
